NOTICE: We have received reports from some users that lottery tickets will not scan. This appears to be a problem with only some states, and we sincerely apologize for this. We are working very hard to resolve the problem. If this affects you, please first attempt the following suggestions. Some users have also reported that their numbers disappear after saving. If the numbers are restricted for a future drawing, they will show up for that drawing but not display against the previous one. If this is an issue, please turn of "Restrict Dates" and they will be visible for all drawings.
Tips, if your numbers arent scanned properly, make sure:
- get as close to the numbers to fill the screen and eliminate other areas of the ticket or background
- only scan your numbers, not the ticket barcode
- the lighting is bright and even with no shadows or glare
- the ticket is on a plain background without patterns that may interfere with image processing
- the camera is even and straight with the ticket
- the camera lens is clean and the picture is in focus
- it may require a couple attempts to detect your numbers properly
If all else fails, please request a refund from apple: https://reportaproblem.apple.com
If you would like to help make the app better, please send us an email using the in-app contact link and send us a picture of your lottery ticket (non-winning of course) so we may use it for additional testing. Please send high resolution, with ticket flat, and with good lighting. An update will be coming soon to help resolve issues and increase the accuracy of ticket scanning.
